Final Evangelion film announced

The final installment in the Neon Genesis Evangelion series has been revealed to hit Japanese cinemas next year. Shin Evangelion Gekijou-ban will complete the four-part movie remake of the series.

Update: The 2013 release date for the movie has been revoked. A new date has yet to be announced.

Weren't there meant to be 6 films? I "just" read about Utada Hikaru singing the ED for 3.0... thought she disappeared a while ago (evil).

They said that 3.0 was to come out with 4.0 but that plan changed and they pushed 4.0 back.
