A-chan's 6 Month Anniversary

Hey guys, this post is a few days late, but I thought this little milestone still deserves some recognition.

Anime.MMGN launched at the end of April I believe, though we were posting here for at least a week before that. It took 13 full threads and a great deal of convincing for it to happen. Many doubted we would be able to populate a whole channel with content and keep it active, but we did and 6 months, 66 articles and a hell lotta posts later here we are. Not so bad for a small group who used to all live inside a single thread.

You may point out the community here is still small and pretty much cut off from the rest of MMGN, even a few who once regularly participated in our discussions have gone quiet. On the other hand, we've acquired some new blood, and many of us have grown closer through years of anime discussions and more recently, even offline events. I feel that if we're able to keep going like this, slowly but surely, we'll be able to reach out to new members and grow as one of Australia's first serious anime communities.

That's all. I realise this post is starting to get awkward and corny, so to conclude, here is 10 hours of Fukkireta.
